Vogue Ginny Doll Party Dress Organdy Bonnet Bloomers Box 1957 White Blue. Doll a model only ,not included just to show you how this displays. This is shown on page 285 in the purple collectors encyclopedia it matches a jill and ginnette outfit. This is the blue ribbon on white organdy dress with matching bonnet hat and bloomers number I believe is 7042. Tagged vogue dolls inc tag inside. No major holes or tears in any of the pieces. It actually does not look like it was displayed or played with much it is crisp feeling it looks like it has been sitting in the box aging for years. That is the flaw on the outfit its a light organdy and it has age soil. Condition info is down below. The hat no holes or tears found. Twists on the end parts of the tie ribbon and very slight edge fray at the tip of the ribbon. Lace is perfect and so are the flowers does not look like the flowers were touched much. There is soil aging on the organdy of the hat. Dress no holes or tears. Few minor pull threads and very minor snags but no holes or tears. The ribbon ties some twists from being tied. There is a tiny pink stain on the tie its hard to see I believe it picked it up from the box. There is minor edge fray at the edge end of the ties. Soil age on the dress most dominant on the sides however is thru the dress. Outfit has not been washed tag is crisp and the ribbon is still blue.Bloomers back there is age stain areas that are dark this is piece out of the set that has the heaviest soiling. Elastic is good and springy. No holes or tears. My mom had this dress stored in this box so I assume its original to it. There is minor age on the ribbons and lace however its minor the aging is mostly on the organdy. The box is missing pieces so I can not find a number, most of the cello is gone, and there is splits/ tear offs to the box. Not a mint box it has a lot of damage as shown. Pieces need to be pressed. My opinion of the aging soil of the dress and bonnet is that it can be displayed as is, if you are the type of collector who does not mind aged organdy. Its not super dark(except that area on the bloomers) as I have seen all different types of aged organdy however you can see soil aging so its not a bright white anymore. The photos are not taken in flash and are in the natural sunlight so its the closest you can get to viewing it online as if it was in person.
