Vogue Ginny Painted Lash Braids Strung DOLL Tagged Dress Outfit TLC (1951)

Description

This is one of our treasured Vogue Ginny Dolls that is a strung (non-walker) doll with the most eye-catching precious face ever!
Her bight cheek color and almost porcelain look makes her very special.
She is not in mint condition so please read all details and look at photos. This collection comes from years of just loving these dolls.
Ginny has eyes that remain half open when she is laid down; tap her feet to keep them open.
She has bright original high cheek color with no rubs, beautifully painted brows and lashes (makes her look almost porcelain). She is marked on her back Vogue and easily posed. Her hair is TLC because you can see webbing on top of her head and in the back of her head with some glue residue (photos 9+11); braids have red ribbons and are loose, with left braid a bit longer and some flyaways from braids unraveling some. Her front bangs are a bit strange; kind of pull towards her right side of head and see a bit of wig glued down below them too (photos 10+11). Also seems like her body is a little dark and found some shininess along her left body seam (photo 9) and a tiny pinhole on her right shoulder (photo 7).
Ginny wears a precious outfit that looks like she's ready for school.  The dress has a skinny Vogue tag on the inside of it and closes in the back with a hook-and eye (no rust). Dress is nice and clean.  Matching pants are clean but the elastic is pulled away from waist band area and there is a small hole in back top seam I couldn't pick up in photos (best photo to see this is #8). The hat is in nice, clean condition with a little bend in it from storing it away. Her red jacket is in clean condition but has some thin areas and the white plastic collar has some bends to it with hook-and-eye darkened. Her shoes are Ginny marked red heel shoes in good condition with some rubs or marks on them. Socks are good with a little pulling to them.  She really is a gorgeous little Ginny but just not perfect; was bought for quite a penny and just want her to have a wonderful new home.
